Phillip Alan Hailey, 59, of Brookneal passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Shirley McCall Hailey. Phillip was born in Lynchburg, July 2, 1955 son of the late Lennie Byrd Hailey and Christine Childress Hailey. He was a member of Falling River Baptist Church and a retired employee of ESP, inc. In addition to his wife, he survived by two uncles, Stanley Hailey and Clarence Hailey both of Nathalie; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Byrd Hailey. A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Falling River Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Keith Williams. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence other times.
