Oh, my dear, dear friend, I will always miss you. I have always seen you as the iron lady. Full of spit and vinegar when needed, and yet incredibly funny even when you tried not be be. Such an incredible soul, never hesitating to stand up for what's right and protecting those you cared about at all cost. I am at such a loss for words except to say I love you and thank you... For caring for me and my family. For allowing us to be a part of your life. For helping me through a crappy divorce and an ex who never saw himself as that and continued to make things difficult for years. No matter how busy I became and how long we were apart during the years each time we saw each other, the time melted as if we had just spoken hours ago.
