Robert Goldman Anderson, 75, of Nathalie passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Linda Anderson Anderson. Mr. Anderson was born in Halifax County, September 22, 1942, a son of the late Whitt Talven Anderson and Ludie “LG” Blanks Anderson. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Republican Grove and a retired employee of Brookneal Machine Shop. In addition to his wife, he survived by a daughter, Donna Anderson Francis (David) of Nathalie; one granddaughter, Brandy Francis of Forest; one grandson, Daniel Francis; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Francis; one brother, Earl Bailey Anderson (Margaret); one sister, Sheila Stevens (John) all of Nathalie. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove by the Rev. Shelton Miles with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence.
