Bernard Lynn Clevinger,73, of Brookneal, passed away at home on Friday, June 12, 2026. He was the husband of the late Karen Logan Clevinger. Born in West Virginia on October 25, 1952, he was the son of the late Bernard Lou Clevinger and the late Kathryn Geraldine Byrely Baker. He retired from his own construction company. Bernard Lynn, or Lynn, as he preferred, worked in construction all his life until he finally retired and moved to Brookneal, VA. He moved here to help take care of his mother and to enjoy the more peaceful side of the country. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and his football. He loved feeding his squirrels and his birds daily, as they would greet him each morning. He was loved by many and now will smile down as he is reunited with those that have gone before him. He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Uhlar (Sean) of Newport News; a son, Brian L. Clevinger (Jennifer) of North Carolina; grandsons, Austin, Noah, Lincoln and Carlton; a great granddaughter, Maisie.
