Betty Hodnett Jackson, 86, of Midlothian passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond. She was the wife of Richard B. Jackson of Midlothian. Mrs. Jackson was born in Halifax County, October 5, 1934, daughter of the late Elson Hodnett and Lula Hill Hodnett. She is survived by a son, R. Alan Jackson (Nicole) of Midlothian; a granddaughter, Kelsey Moore (Austin) of Powhatan; a grandson, Mason Jackson of Midlothian; a great-grandson, Kaiden Hummel; a brother, Butch Hodnett (Janet) of Chatham. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alpha Hodnett. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Randy Foster. Following CDC guidelines those attending the service will be required to wear a mask and social distance.
