Carrie Mae Johnson Waller, 79, of Phenix passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late Harvey W. Waller. Mrs. Waller was born in Charlotte County, June 6, 1935 daughter of the late Roy Gray Johnson and Effie Ellington Johnson. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She is survived by one sister, Susie J. Metcalf of Phenix; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015 in Midway Baptist Church cemetery by the Rev. Joey Anthony. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
