Christine Fleshman Wade, 90, Jenny’s Ruff Trail, Nathalie passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at home.  She was the wife of late Kenneth Tines Wade. Christine was born in Campbell County, December 11, 1923 daughter of the late Radford Wheeler Fleshman and Edna Clark Fleshman.  She was a member of Hat Creek Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, Gregory Kenneth Wade of Nathalie; and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, June Myers of Concord.  She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Harry, Carroll, Leps, Maxwell, Elwood, Willis, Cuyler and Thomas Fleshman; two sisters, Lila Fleshman, Eleanor Slaughter. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Hat Creek Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Joe Lively with interment to follow in Clover Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until time for the service at Hat Creek Presbyterian Church and following the interment at Clover Bottom Baptist Church fellowship hall. Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal is assisting the family.
