Connie Gail Brock Bledsoe, 53, of Nathalie, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas Melvin “Mel” Bledsoe. Connie was born in Harlan, KY, March 29, 1970, daughter of the late Roy Brock and Shirley Caudill Brock. She was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church and an LPN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Breanna Nimety (Phillip), Abigail Slayton (Marqui) all of Brookneal; six grandchildren, Ezekiel, Elyssia, Constance, Elijah, JaKobi, and Melvin; two brothers, Preston Brock (Wanda), and Troy Brock (Aaliah) all of Harlan KY. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Phillip Wright with interment to follow in Clover Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
