Dorothy Lloyd Tuck, 83, of Nathalie, passed away at Lynchburg General Hospital on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was the wife of the late Charlie Ross Tuck. Dorothy was born in Halifax County on November 24, 1941, a daughter of the late Claude Henry Lloyd and the late Helen Moore Lloyd. She attended Amazing Grace Ministries, Lynchburg and retired from Burlington Industries. She is survived by a son, Gregory Tuck (Vickie) of Rustburg; three daughters, Vicky Walker (Ricky) of Hurt, Patricia Douglas (Steve) of Brookneal, and Lisa Rosser of Rustburg; seven grandchildren, Chris Clay, Holly Jordan (Jake), Matthew Walker (Rosi), Garrett Arthur (Stephanie), Taylor Farmer (Julie) James Dawson (Leigh Anna), and Dillyn Tuck; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Lloyd of Richmond; two sisters, Betty Floyd (Bruce) of Hurt and Josephine Lankford of Pamplin; and a special friend, Virginia Lowery of South Boston. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ronnie Rosser, a grandson, Casey Allen Douglas and a sister, Margaret Williams. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Shelton Miles at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Wickliffe Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Chapel from 12:30 p.m. until the service.
