Obituaries

Earl Edward “Eddie” Greenway, 54, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at home. He was the husband of Angela Rose “Angie” Greenway. Eddie was born in Campbell County, September 5, 1968 the son of Nora Pool Greenway of Brookneal and the late Marshall “Pete” Greenway. He was a member of Falling River Baptist Church and an employee of R. M. Gantt Construction. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Geraldine M. “Geri” Greenway and boyfriend J. T. Brown of Lynchburg; a sister, Amy Sprouse (Doug); a nephew, Douglas Sprouse all of Gladys; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at Falling River Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the FRBC Softball Team.
