Eva Bowman Martin, 94, of Nathalie, Va., passed away peacefully at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Brookneal on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was the wife of the late Raymond James Martin. Born in Arkansas on April 25, 1931, Eva was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Bowman and the late Henrietta Griebler Bowman . She spent her life as a homemaker. Eva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ward 3, of Lynchburg, Va. Eva was survived by one daughter, Eloise Stanbrough of Vineyard, Utah; a grandson, Evan Allen Caraway (Bryn) of Herndon, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Summer, Ellie, and Piper Caraway; two sisters, Elsie May Bowman Shallenberger and Eveline Martha Bowman Baldock, both of Hemet, Ca. She was proceeded in death by a son, David Martin and a granddaughter Angela Marie Stoor Frank; and siblings, Eleanore Mildred Bowman, Beny Henry Bowman, Benjamin Harrison Bowman, and Henry Felton Bowman.
