Gloria Dawn Pillow, 71, of Brookneal passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. Dawn was born in Campbell County, November 18, 1949, daughter of Harry Martin Pillow and Dorothy Smith Pillow. She was a member of Hat Creek Presbyterian Church. She is survived by three brothers, Wayne Pillow (Dianne) of Lynchburg, Donnie Pillow (Virginia) of Gladys, Mark Pillow (Valerie) of Red House; an aunt, Ann Pillow of Madison Heights; nephews, Brian Pillow (Kelly) of Lynchburg, Martin Pillow of Colorado; nieces, Cheryl Simpson (Marty) of North Carolina, Kristen Coch (Jon) of Aldie, Kymaree Pillow of Lynchburg; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Hat Creek Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Joy Jenkins with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hat Creek Presbyterian Church.
