My deepest and sincere sympathy on the passing of Dalton. I remember him from years ago when our church, Mt. Carmel U.M.C., was in the charge with Brookneal U.M.C. He and Shirley supported our youth group so faithfully. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed life. Please know you are in my prayers during this time and in the days going forward. May the Lord give you peace and comfort and hold you close, always. Sincerely, Patricia

Ricky and family, I am so sorry to hear of Dalton's passing. When I heard it all I could think is he is with Shirley and Sam now and what a good time they are having. I can hear sweet Shirley laughing now. Prayers for you all in the days ahead.

I am sorry so to hear of Dalton's passing. I lived at the bottom of the hill with my grandparents, Irvin and Mildred Sowell, as a child. I have so many childhood memories with Dalton and Miss Shirley. They both were such loving wonderful people. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dalton was my dear, dear friend. I loved him very much and will miss him at church and will miss having an occasional meal with him at the skillet. He was a true gentleman.

Prayers and sympathy to the family of Mr. Trent. When I worked at the milling co. He would come down and talk with Fred and Billy. He was a fine man. God Bless
