I'm just hearing about John's passing. It was a pleasure working with him with back in our Triangle Ford days! Praying for his family!

I just heard 0f John's passing and I'm so sorry. The last time I saw John was in Food Lion and he looked so good. My late husband, Harvey Elder, thought a lot of John, he was a good employee at Triangle Ford & Mercury. He was a good mechanic and he will be missed. I pray God will bless all his family with the strength, comfort and encouragement you need during this difficult time. My love & prayers, Joyce Elder

John was such a special friend and coworker or #2 mechanic as we always kidded about. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. RIP! Love, Nancy Cowart

As heartbroken as I am - I can only imagine the joy our dad had when John arrived. Much love and I hope you can ride again with Dad and Dale

John was a very friendly man who always had a smile even when I know he was in pain in life. A great lesson for us all! John was an Excellent Diesel Mechanic! I enjoyed getting to know John these last many years at Quickway Carriers in Lynchburg, VA where John worked as the lead man Mechanic for our trucks. I was John's Safety Manger from Ohio and whenever I was in town for our quarterly meetings I always invited John out for lunch. John always enjoyed talking about his conservative political beliefs and we had many great conversations. John was not shy about what he believed and I always was impressed with his knowledge. John was also a man of great faith and he lived his life as a great example for his friends and co-workers to follow. John buddy, you will be missed here at Quickway! But you will live on in our memories! I know that on that great come and get it day, when we hear that trumpet sound, we will see you again my friend! Until then, keep those diesels in heaven running as good as you did those in Lynchburg! I will be looking forward to breaking bread with you again at that great banquet table in Heaven1
