Larry Wayne Rudder, 74, of Nathalie, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He was the husband of Pamela Davis Rudder. Born in Lynchburg on May 15, 1952, Larry was the son of the late Maynard Glass Rudder and the late Janie Britton Rudder. He was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church and was retired from Verizon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Brandon M. Rudder (Melisa) of Nathalie and Travis S. Rudder of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, MacKenzie Rudder, Hayden Rudder, Victoria Rudder, Gabrielle Woosley, Maximus Woosley; one great grandson, Bailey Stembridge; two brothers, Danny Rudder (Tammy) and Ronald “Ron” Rudder (Janet); son-in-law, Brian K. Woosley. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Rudder Woosley. A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Phillip Wright on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Clover Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family in the church fellowship hall following the service.
