Pansy “Polly” Major Bradley, 91, of Brookneal, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 6, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, the late Carl L. Bradley. Born in Texas on September 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick Major and the late Pansy Garner Major. She was a homemaker. Polly was a long-term member of Falling River Baptist Church where she directed the choir and taught Sunday school for decades. She loved her family and they will always cherish the memory of her fabulous meals – best homemade biscuits on the East coast! Polly is survived by her three children Doug Bradley (Annette), Bobby Bradley (Copy) and Susan Bradley; five grandchildren, Justin Bradley (Tonya), Jessie Keller (Dustin), Heath Bradley (Brittany), Rob Bradley (Meredith) and Kyle Bradley (Brittany). She was adored by her ten great grandchildren, Josh, Abbie, Hannah and Levi Keller, Bran, Bryar, Brent, Kora and Carson Bradley, who were the apple of her eye. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Earl and Johnny Major. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Matthew Killmon and David St. John on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Falling River Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Wounded Warrior Foundation.
