Rebecca Rudd Burton, 72, of Nathalie passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 18, 2026. She was the wife of John Burton. Rebecca was born in Halifax County on March 29, 1954, the daughter of the late Richard Thomas Rudd and the late Joanne Sease Rudd. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Republican Grove. She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Hall of Cluster Springs; stepchildren, Kimberly Reamer and Christopher Burton; grandchildren, Tyler Driskill (fiancée Salem Blair), Harley Shelton (fiancée Beverly Peregoy) Raymond and Samira Hall, and very special friends, Brett Webster and Heather Davis. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hendersonfuneral.net.
