I had the pleasure of working with. On in the Setective Bureau for many years. Besides being a good supervisor, he was also a good friend. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the entire family and especially David. Steve Dunn VBPD (retired)

Bob was an ever-smiling and caring person with a magnetic personality everyone loved being around. He shared his knowledge and experience with all those interested, supporting and teaching many on the Virginia Beach Police Department in a variety of roles. I miss him very much and the times we had together. My condolences to the Meeks family and especially to his son David.

Bob was like a brother to me. We loved him. I’ll never forget the time that he put pink water in my cup that I drank while preaching. I looked at him on the front row of our church and he had this almost angelic look of innocence. I was always able to depend on him as a deacon in our church. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Carol, we love you and we know you’ll miss him. It was my privilege to be your pastor at Plaza Baptist. Ron and Carolyn Lee
