Sorry for your loss. Ron was a good friend. We shared many good times together.

My sincere sympathy and love to all family and friends. Ron was not only professional in his work but, showed kindness, empathy, and love. On some of our worst days, he was at his very best. Each service carried out with dignity, organization and respect. He served beyond measure and will be immensely missed. To all family and friends, may the Lord be your comfort and peace, knowing he now lives with our Father in heaven.

Ron has been a staple in the community all of my life; from lake days & nights, to assisting our families with laying our loved ones to rest. He was a friendly face with a welcoming smile whenever our paths crossed. Prayers to his family and loved ones he leaves behind.

To my brothers Cole and Nate, from your Braxton family, we love you guys. To all other family and friends, I can’t imagine how difficult of a time this is for you all but know that you have, not just your family, but the entire Brookneal community here to support you. Ron didn’t just provide his services to the town but the entire county and beyond. Whether it was me coming to your home to play with the boys as a child or walking up Old Main S by the funeral home, Ron would always make sure to come and make sure I was doing ok and he’d always say, now you alway gotta take care of yourself 1st Sharron. And give me that look to where I just knew he actually cared. He was a very special man and an ultimate hero in my life . I couldn’t begin to tell what all he’s done for me in my life as a role positive model but it helped me so much. Ron, you’ll be missed big guy!!! And as the whole town mourns, we all shall look to god for comfort!!!🙏🏿❤️

I am deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Ron. He dedicated his life to serving others with dignity and compassion, guiding families through loss with remarkable grace. And even in such a serious line of work, he had a wonderful sense of humor that reminded people that kindness and lightheartedness still have a place, even in the darkest moments. Ron will be greatly missed, and fondly remembered for the smiles and laughter he brought to this world. My prayers are with his family, and friends, especially the ones he worked with at Hendersons.

After I met Ron I understood why daddy liked to go over there. Ron was sarcastic with humor. He was so good to mama after daddy died and taking care of baby Micah. The universe is a better place because he is in it. Peace and love to all his family and friends.
