My deepest sympathy to the family. Tom and i graduated from William Campbell High School in the same class. Played on the football team together as well as running on the track team. We served as board members on the Sportsmans Club. Always the same friend each time you met him. I will miss him. Alan Tibbs, Brookneal

So sorry to read about Thomas. I went to Rustburg High School when Tom was going to William Campbell. We played football across from each other. We went to Ferrum at the same time. He was always such an upbeat person.

Thomas will be missed by all of his friends at the Brookneal Sportman Club. We knew each other from early childhood. Lurline and my mother worked in Leggetts Dept. store together for years in Brookneal. Thomas and I ran track together and played some football together at William Campbell. He always greeted me with a handshake and a smile. We served on the Sportsman Club board of directors together for years. I will truly miss him. Russ Guthrie Gladys, VA

Linda and family, My family and I are so sorry for your loss. Tom will be greatly missed. I know he fought a hard battle but the fight is over and he's in a much better place ! If there is anything we can do for you in this time of sorrow please let us know.
