Timothy Alan Winston, 59, of Rustburg, passed away March 7, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Jacqueline Buchanan Winston. Mr. Winston was born in Lynchburg, December 14, 1962, he was the son of the late George Alexander Winston III and the late Betty Joan Cabaniss Winston. Timothy was a truck driver for Carolina Freight Co. and Winston Trucking and a member of Hat Creek Presbyterian Church. He is survived by one son, Christopher Alan Winston of Rustburg; one daughter, Kari Winston Keel (Esteban) of Acworth, GA; six grandchildren, Hunter Winston; Charlie Keel; Mateo Keel; Santiago Keel; Baylee Winston; Caison Winston; two uncles, Addison Winston; William Winston; two brothers in law, Steve Buchanan (LaDonna); Greg Buchanan (Sandra); four nieces, Holly Winston Mitchell; Kay-Dee Winston Cruz; Meghan Buchanan Arant; Averie Buchanan Conner. Preceded in death by a brother George Nelson Winston. A memorial service will be conducted at Union Hill Baptist Church, Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Rick Sewell will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
