William Joseph Brennan, 74, of Brookneal, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Born in Pennsylvania on November 29, 1951, William was the son of the late John Brennan and the late Mabel Weir Brennan. He retired from J&R Construction of Wilmington, Delaware. William was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing and being on the water. He enjoyed working with hand tools and on various crafts. William is survived by a daughter, Dawn Rena Walker (Harold) of Nathalie; three sons, William Brennan (Erin) of Millsboro, Delaware, Robert Byer Brennan (Allison) of Felton, Delaware, Brandon Thomas Brennan of Georgetown, Delaware; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jacqueline Verderame of King of Prussia.
