To Jeff and family. Words cannot express how saddened we are to hear of your mother’s passing. I am thankful that not too long ago you allowed me to speak with her on the phone. She treated me as one of her own, and I was truly blessed and grateful to know both her and your dad. I was so surprised that after so many years she was able to recognize me and I am thankful we had our conversation. I am glad she had a long life and for the amazing care that you all provided for her, she was truly loved by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time. Jeffrey we are so very sorry to hear of Great Aunt Doris passing. I was so looking forward to many more days of laughing and story telling with her! She was such a loving, kind, and sweet lady. I’m going to miss her a lot! If there’s anything you all need or anything I can do, you know how to reach me! And to Aunt Doris… rest easy and FLY HIGH! You told me when God was ready to call you home, you were ready to go! Your time here is done, shine like the Angel I know you are! Kiss my grandpas cheek and tell Uncle Claude “SugarFoot” loves and misses him too! One of these days we will all be reunited! What a glorious day that will be!!!
