My favorite memory of Aunt Eunice was sitting with her on Sundays at our house in Vera and going through her magazines and identifying the ads that stood out. I will miss Aunt Eunice.

I was best friends with Eunices's son Ben in high school and I always remember feeling as if I had a second mom when I was around her. She was that kind of person. Eunice was always concerned with how you were doing and treated you like you were one of her children whenever you were around her. Though I lost touch with her and Ben in later years, I will always remember her sweet spirit and her caring ways. As a pastor of mine once said about someone special who had passed, where she is now she wouldn't come back if she could, but she truly will be missed.
